Bauer Media Audio has appointed a Director of Human Resources and Culture, Bauer Media Audio and General Counsel to Bauer Media Audio & Publishing UK.

Christiane Freund will be responsible for people and culture strategy for our audio businesses across Europe. She will lead the Audio HR team in each of our territories and partner with the company to support our ambition to become a global audio pioneer.

Christiane joins Bauer Media Audio from the LVMH group where she oversaw the transformation of the business in the EMEA regions. She has also implemented global projects including delivering learning and development, improving performance management review processes, and diversity and inclusion programs. Previously, she worked at RTL Group in Luxembourg as Vice President of Human Resources.

Adrian Goss, General Counsel, Bauer Media Audio & Publishing UK will be responsible for the strategic direction and legal center of excellence of our audio operations in our markets, as well as providing advice on issues that impact the business. He will lead the Audio legal team across Europe, while providing services to our Audio and Publishing businesses in the UK.

He joins the company from Are Media in Sydney, Australia’s largest magazine and digital publisher – to which Bauer sold his publishing interests, with Adrian working for the company under Bauer’s ownership. Adrian was previously legal counsel for publicly listed Australian film and television production and distribution company, Beyond International and prior to that worked in law firms in Australia and the United States. He brings significant regulatory, advocacy and compliance experience to the firm, as well as experience in delivering training programs related to competition, consumer, privacy and law issues. defamation.
