(Nasdaq: CDNS) today announced the launch of Cadence® Tensilica® HiFi 1 DSP, which enhances user experience by delivering groundbreaking audio / voice innovation for small battery-powered devices such as TWS headphones, hearing aids, bluetooth headsets, smart watches and other portable devices. The ultra-low power consumption of DSP HiFi 1 extends the duration of voice communication and music playback, making it possible to always listen to voice commands with minimal impact on battery life. A number of converging trends are driving the need for low power audio / voice capabilities in a small form factor.
