Some smart shuttle developers with much larger investments show little sign of such innovation and optimization. They ignore cities that demand the empowerment of people with disabilities and low income, standing and carrying 15 to 25 people in people mode to minimize the road footprint. A bad idea is four crushed together in a small box without luggage. Developers who adapt big golf cars or van type minibuses are completely missing the point. Robotaxis are self-driving cars used only for mobility as a MaaS service. When a golf car, van, or minibus is called a robotic shuttle or robotic shuttle, it’s a marketing trick, nothing more.
